OK, there's a bug in the game: once the top level ship disappears below the shooting range, it's stuck at the bottom (beyond view) and it does not re-appear, so you can't advance to the next level because there's absolutely no way to destroy it.

Not sure about the funky colour scheme, and I still prefer the original.
